Q: Do you accept commissions?
A: Sorry I do not! Costumes take a lot of dedication and hard-work, and with the free-time i do have i dedicate to my own costumes for now.
Q: Can I buy your (insert costume name) from you?
A: For most costumes if I am willing to sell them I list it in the shop section, as well as making an ad in cosplaycom’s marketplace section. I tend to sell costumes frequently due to school costs, so you might see a costume up every so often!
Q: Where did you buy ____ wig at?
A: I buy wigs from several sources. Each has there own specialty and advantages to them. I have a lot of wigs purchased from cosplaywig on ebay, and CogMarc who is also an ebay seller. My best advice to someone is don’t be afraid to try new places. Cosplayers nowadays have extremely great resources than ever. And sellers have a better understanding, construction, and color options for cosplayers with a variety in price ranges! For more resources I use scroll to the bottom of this page!
Q: Can you help me with ____ costume? How did you do that on your costume?
A: As a cosplayer we all are given the task to interpret and realize a 2D design into 3Dimension. Each person interprets things differently, and can produce different, or similar results. Most cosplayers take a lot of time in the creation of there costumes, wigs, props, and bringing them to life, so it’s only natural for some cosplayers to choose to withhold techniques, and material choices. So if a cosplayer denies you just understand where they are coming from first. As for myself I am willing to help out other cosplayers if possible, and have answered many questions on the costumes I’ve made. There are cases where I do keep certain ideas/techniques/materials to myself, and hope that the person questioning can understand. For any questions about my costumes, please feel free to read my descriptions on each of the individual costume pages.
Q: Where did the name Eternal Daydream come from?
A: I’ve always been a daydreamer, and wanted to include that with the site name. A favorite artist of mine, Izubuchi Yutaka who has done artwork for Record of Lodoss War, has a an illustration of Deedlit and Pirotess in Grecian dresses. Underneath the illustration is a caption that reads- The Eternal Dream. I liked the feeling/meaning of the word eternal, and chose to combine eternal and daydream.
