Character – Series- Simon – Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Personal thoughts- I really fell in love with Nia and Simon. I didn’t feel comfortable tackling Nia’s wig, and opted to do Simon instead in his Time-skip outfit.
Construction details- The real challenge of this costume was doing the trim out of vinyl, it was very time-consuming and difficult to work with since you can’t iron it, and it puckered very easily if your not careful so i had to take my time applying the hand cut vinyl trim i made. The stars on the coat has a satin-stitch all along the edges. Jumpsuit was made and then loosely fitted to me. It has red stretchy spats on the bottom of the pant, that tucks around the shoe.
