Sac-Anime holds a Fashion Show, where cosplayers are paired or trio’d off
and pose on stage. We had a little fun at the end and went out of character!

Personal thoughts- I really had fun with this costume, i have a huge love for avatar and had the craving to make a costume from it. My friend Ellome introduced us to the series, and we literally marathon-ed the first two seasons, just in time to watch the upcoming season 3! When season 3 finally came out and they developed mai, i knew i wanted to cosplay her. Plus I’ve always liked her design the most.
Construction details- Purple overcoat has a white collar I sewn to the neckline. The sides have a cut-out shape that follows her design. It has a hook and eye closure on the front. The burgundy jumpsuit flares at the leg and sleeves. Vinyl armguards are just squares with piping that can fit little weapons. Shoes were made from stretch, and the same vinyl as the armguards. Wig is a basic black wig, with buns I hand-made myself, with Styrofoam cut and shaped like hers then glued extension hair tightly around the foam, they are then placed onto the wig!
