Award Won- Wondercon 2008- Most Beautiful
Unfortunately during Wondercon 2008 i was severly under-the-weather, and i didn’t want my efforts to be wasted
so i went forth with the masquerade performance i had planned. I simplified the choreography to accomodate
my lack of health, and still think the simple walk-on was nice!

Personal thoughts- The lodoss artbook, has this wonderful illustration of deedlit and pirotess, in Grecian-like dresses, with jewelry pieces, armor, and floral head-piece how could anyone pass that up? It’s a beautiful look, and i wanted to continue making deedlit’s outfits!
Construction details- Fabric was suggested by my pirotess and was bought at joann’s it wasn’t my first choice, but the green color was very accurate. The dress is lined in itself to have clean edges, and drape nicely. Gold armor pieces are made from craft foam, with cut-out designs i did with an xacto blade. Jewelry pieces were created by me and then hand sewn onto the costume. Jewel pendants purchased from ebay. Pink scarf is made from chiffon and draped from the shoulder armor piece.
