Award Won- Fanime 2007- Advanced Group Craftsmanship
For Fanime’s 2007 Masquerade, me and my friends entered our Lodoss costumes.
We chose a simple performance since the armor caused slight immobility, and highlighted our characters
and costumes craftsmanship!

Personal thoughts- Whe me and my boyfriend started dating he introduced me to Lodoss. He had always wanted to make a Parn costume, and i fell in love with deedlit and parn and the relationship they have, i couldn’t wait to get started!
Construction details- This costume was the first time I’ve ever created armor. Craft foam was used to create the armor you see, through heat manipulation. The detailing and raised edges are foam strips i hand cut myself and then laid on top. Gold rub’n'buff was used to color the raised edges gold.
Dress- The dress underneath has hand-embroidery all along the collar, armholes, and the emblem design on the chest. I spent approximately an incredibly long time on this as it was my first time doing hand-embroidery so I took my time with it, and for my first I think I did well, but boy does it cause some backache!
Arm-warmers and elf booties were made from scratch with this lovely textured vinyl, that has leather cording to wrap it tight.
