Personal thoughts- I’ve long admired the idolm@ster games. Last fall I had purchased a PS3 as a gift to my boyfriend, and for an early Christmas gift he bought me the Idolm@ster 2 video game. It was my first time playing the game and it’s very addicting! Last fall I was able to be a member of the dance troupe Angel Hearts who specialize in doing performances and costumes, and in recent years have focused on the Idolm@ster franchise. Character-wise I always wanted to be Takane, and had plans to cosplay her myself prior to joining the group. However the group’s open character’s did not include one’s I would’ve liked to join as. However I’ve grown attached to Yukiho, and really have fun portraying her!

Construction details- All patterns were draped and free-handed myself, including the pleated skirt! Nothing too out there construction-wise, just needed to make sure this ostume could endure dance performances and was well made.
